Fashion Unites to Break the Chains of Transitoning Hate" Campaign presents: The Excorcism of a Fashionista"

Trans.United, SocialRags Blog, Eatonthis.com, Presents, "The Excorcism of a Fashionista", benefit Fashion Show. October 2, 2010 from 5-9 at The Cork Gallery located at Guilford and Federal Street. The Overall Purpose of this event is to gain Maximum exposure on issues centered around Transgenders and Miniority groups who reside in Charm City. Using Fashion as a Social utility to gain awareness and provide a comfortable medium for change. While implementing and exalting such great fashion talent living amongst Charm City. Lastly to use fashion, a common thread" in the LGBT community, to uplift, deviate, and abolish all social and racial barriers that plague our specific community region.





This Fashion show will host designs from leading and prominent LGBT designers:

This fashion show will be shown in 4 phases. 1)Day, Sportswear, Rtw 2) Activewear, Swimwear, lingerie, 3) Cocktail, Party Dresses, evening 4) Couture, Special Request, Bridal. The collection will be featured as such to ensure all fashion basis will be covered! Models will Show designs from past and present collections to include accessories and milinery work. The Integration of real people and industry professionals will serve as the feature presentation to attack the division amongst our community while there are many segregated groups amongst one LGBT nucleus.





As an added Feature we will Host local LGBT Music acts that will serve as an opening and culmination piece for the event. Such local acts are breaking barriers in the music field by not conforming to the industrys harsh standard! This added feature would be sure to encite guest to socialize, mingle, and enjoy this fashion event!!





Special Performances will be announced!





Lastly to Round out the event there is a cocktail reception for guest, media, press, models, etc. This is the time of reflecction on the event, newtworking. Press/media sources and outlets will be on hand to discuss, interview,and inquire about fashions shown and the Nature of the Benefit!! They also have a priviledge of starting and discovering new business endeavors and relationships. For the soul purposes of Trans.United becoming more of a force of resource for our overlooked community and problems...Lastly implementing equality to bridge all social gaps.

Petition---SocialRagers Sign on Up!!!!

Trans.United is asking everyone to sign this petition to get an apology. A change of policy form and to give Gender competency training to Channels, 11, 13, 2. Please sign this petition as it serves Justice for the Transgender Community!!!

Channel 2, 11, 13 Mis-represented a memeber of the Transgendered Community by calling a Pre-op Transexual a Transgender Man and Transvestite. The terms allocated are wrong and the Transgender Community and most importantly Tamara King deserves an apology for such reporting.

Petition-

1. A Public or written Apology

2. Send Trans.United a copy of your public policy regarding how your news producers, writers, and reporters make reference to Transgemder people while covering or reporting a story.

3. We are requesting that your staff hav a Gender Culture Competence training provided by Trans.United.

4. We Request that you get a copy of Baltimore City Ordinance 02-453( Google or Bing it!!)

**Please know that these actios are to prevent mistakes in reporting on Transgender people in the future.

Jedda the Fashion Knight!!!!

The Installation By Jedda Khan...Fabulous Fashion social given by Designer Jedda Khan presented on Thursday August 19th, @ Suite !8..The social began By arrival of the fashion community in baltimore who came out in droves to behold the Preview..During the event before the installation there was alot of mingling and dancing....The Sounds poured from the speakers as the House Dj amped the crowd for the Preview....Before the Fashion could be under way Jedda Addressed and thanked the crowd for coming and gave fabulous gifts to the attendees through raffling. He then began to speak about the origin of this event and how it will serve as the introduction to many Fashion Installations to come..Noting most importantly that the design structure/force here in Charm City is Momentus and that we have to Propel the Voice....For the moment that we all gathered and migrated to the next level to see, models were standing in a choir formation exhibiting his latest pre-fall collection..........The most noticed trends were the embellishment that adorned every garment along with the statement necklace shown in various Styles. The most highlighted piece was the classic mens white shirt with embellished chocolate leather zipper accents along the collar silouhette of the shirt..Or the very classic chocoloate Knickers with the statement necklace and plain white shirt...The womenswear presented 2 different genres of looks using sportswear influences on evening looks...1st up was the escaping vertical ruched sleeve which bared the shoulders, waist belt with lace and ruffle skirt. Secondly a black and gold embellished angled tank like dress with beautiful beading and bias hem....The looks were totally style accessorized by Statement jewelry, white afro wigs and perfect but demure footwear...This collection definitly left the imagination and appetite wanting more..So yo know that means im going to be checking my NyFW schedule to check the newest collection........Thanks Jedda Khan for Creating the standard for your Charm City Fashionistas...The Design public is ready to follow suit...Lets salute Jedda Khan..............Check out the Party LIfe and The Collection Hits here at SocialRags..............xoxo

Momentous!!!!!!!! Smashion Fashion comes hard today as Designer Jedda Khan presents a A/W 10 Fashion Installation at Suite 18...Also serving as an after Party for the 1st Day of BFW 2010.....The Installation will Begin at 10pm.....Im so excited to attend this stellar event....Our Fashion Designers are Gleaming with Charm here in the city.........If you want Haute-ness Come out and Be seen tonight!!!!! So Charm City is on Fashion Duty this weekend as,"Baltimore Fashion Week", kicks into high gear...There are so many fabulous designers showing this weekend, that I cant hold my excitement back......This years Fashion festivities are being hosted by Sheraton Baltimore North, and its expected to be a stellar turnout...The Press that have signed on to do coverage is very extensive so fashion public keep your eyes out for Hauteness!!!
