This hard working "Diva," has become a world phenomenon, that has dominated the billboard charts for a decade. She has astonished many with her voice and dance moves. With her first single;"Singles Ladies", from her latest album, I am...Sasha Fierce, Beyonce; had many women waving their hands in the air to support "girl power" or "women power." Other songs like Independent Women Part I, Bills Bills Bills and Survivor also celebrated and supported "girl power." Her songs are widely known in countries in all parts of the world; from the deserts of Iraq to the suburbs of Chicago. Like the great and recently deceased Michael Jackson, Beyonce shares many successful parallels with Michael Jackson. Both have inspired million of people to dance and both of their voices has touched the ears of many more millions. For this reason I congratulate Mrs. Knowles-Carter for her recent success as being titled "Artist of the Decade!" I applaud this success because unlike many other artists, Beyonce has grown and studied the music industry to respectfully claim the title "Artist of the Decade." I honor this legendary iconic figure by awarding Beyonce Knowles-Carter Social Rags Artist of the Month for the month of March 2010.
