Inspiration From A Concrete City: ATrip To Remember

Hey guys.....I missed you I was on a style retreat in NYC! it taught me alot guys! Let me tell you something...Style comes from substance, the substance comes in what a person posesses! So If we embody a substance that allows us to function properly, than we acknowlege style. Through this NYC journey I learned its not the fashionable one its the classic one! The Classic one defines style as substance and heritage, while the fashionable one puts the trend first and the style second. The celebrated fashionable one is always known for her trendy ways while the classic ones defy the meaning of functionality! Ladies and gents this is my problem! Why would I be questioned in such the manor? You know why because style is what you make it....and if you dont put your best style foot forward.....you'll get nothing! So what did I learn? "Components of a wardrobe", Functionality in Streetwear", Whats the vision that I convey?! You know what, everything is defined by,"You", the personality behind the style!................Find Your Identity!

Music Momentum!

While Chatting and partying it up on Sunday I got a chance to speak with a couple of Artist at the party to gain some incite on some up and coming artist! The music stylings of T.T the Artist, A Cool Stick, and Mike Starr filled the audience with Glee while grabbing us in after every belted note or sharp dance routine!ger, etc. Also music artist attending was Roxie Icon, of Carmen, Jacora Sharnell, Neo-Soul Singer. The artist all seem to have one thing in common tho! That is creating music for people who use music as a universal language and that barriers can be broken.. Well by infusing pain, life, experience into there craft they feel that the voice of the ppl will be heard! During there performances the artist had a very great way of connecting with the audience. So it propelled me to get an interview with the Band A Cool Stick because such a strong Voice, Performance I had to get to the bottom of it...The Interview with A Cool Stick will be posted later today! Look Above for some of your favorite Local Artist!
